In 2005,[4] archaeologists uncovered what are believed to be the world's oldest perfumes inPyrgos, Cyprus. The perfumes date back more than 4,000 years. The perfumes were discovered in an ancient perfumery. At least 60 stills, mixing bowls, funnels and perfume bottles were found in the 43,000-square-foot (4,000 m2) factory.[5] In ancient times people used herbs and spices, like almond, coriander, myrtle, conifer resin, bergamot, as well as flowers.[6
On February 21, 1787, the Articles Congress called a convention of state delegates at Philadelphia to propose a plan of government. Unlike earlier attempts, the convention was not meant for new laws or piecemeal alterations, but for the “sole and express purpose of revising the Articles of Confederation”. The convention was not limited to commerce; rather, it was intended to “render the federal constitution adequate to the exigencies of government and the preservation of the Union." The proposal might take effect when approved by Congress and the states.[11]

George Melies - The Conjuror 1899
It's fascinating...he is everywhere and he is nowhere...all at the same time!!
The dancing female is also a striking addition for his talent show.
Welcome to my blog...
in our day to day life, it is so easy to overlook the necessary act of practicing openness and gratitude,
here are some from around the world in the very special act of reverence,
the submissive side to our nature,
which I find quite beautiful.
Here are my thoughts, compilations, collections from the week:::::::::::::::::::: I hope you can enjoy!
"I am a Train, I am a Bridge-"
When I was a child,
I used to have this vision,
gentle, tepid breeze
in the arms of an elegant man
dancing on a beach
linen
starlight
luxury
it has always stayed with me,
this vision in my mind
but is not
Destiny a manifestation
fashioned
for the blind?

Jerusalem IS the capitol of Israel.
Margaret Thatcher's Theory on the
Trickle Down Effect.
"Watch your thoughts, for they become your words.
Watch your words for they become your actions.
Watch your actions for they become your habits,
Watch your habits for they become your character,
Watch your character for it becomes your Destiny."
But others have evolved Thatcher's reasonings, added a different take,
Mastering the Flow
Circumscribe your thoughts, with the utmost care, practice prudence, if you wish to get there, monitor your actions, play your part, never, let them see the thirst in your heart.
Only he who has known wealth may despise it. Only he who has known poverty may admire it.
Hunter Stockton Thompson (July 18, 1937 – February 20, 2005)
"Myths and legends die hard in America. We love them for the extra dimension they provide, the illusion of near-infinite possibility to erase the narrow confines of most men's reality. Weird heroes and mold breaking champions exist as living proof to those who need it that the tyranny of the 'rat race' is not yet final."
A Scanner Darkly
2006 Science Fiction Thriller
Imagine there's another life form on Earth, or aliens, that are 2 percent beyond us in intelligence...they could enslave us and we wouldn't even know it.
-Neil deGrasse Tyson
Dark Matter
In astronomy and cosmology, dark matter is a type of matter hypothesized to account for a large part of the total mass in the universe. Dark matter cannot be seen directly with telescopes; evidently it neither emits nor absorbs light or other electromagnetic radiation at any significant level.[1] Instead, its existence and properties are inferred from its gravitational effects on visible matter, radiation, and the large scale structure of the universe. Dark matter is estimated to constitute 84% of the matter in the universe and 23% of the mass-energy.[2]
More is unknown than is known. We know how much dark energy there is because we know how it affects the Universe's expansion. Other than that, it is a complete mystery. But it is an important mystery.

Someone please tell Obama that the regular everyday man he stoicly lowers him self to emulate does not use the term "Folks" and has not used this term for a fair amount of decades. Perhaps if he did socialize with the 'commoners' he would already beware of this trend....in fact the only usage of this word the rest of us can remember is here, in this character, striking likeness...or the Mrs??...I don't know you decide..

I have a calculator in my nightstand drawer. Rarely do I open it...but I'm comforted always just knowing it is there, incase I ever want to figure stuff out.
Ever notice how every single interviewee the mono-drones on Bloomberg have on repeat begins their unscripted and original answers with the word 'So'???...you will now.
By the way...I think they all eat at the same restaurants and go to the same gyms too...maybe.
Anyway, just having a little fun (smiles), I do learn some nice basics from these people.
When an officer in the United States Navy learns how to read and detect war code properly he is considered to be of the utmost value for the Government Jurisdiction he serves. Once he learns the ins and the outs of the trade he is considered indispensable. But woe to the trainee who makes a wrong move...in the real, make a wrong move and lives are lost, wars are altered, blood is had. All that is left for the recruit to do is prostrate himself before his commander and pray he serves under a magnanimous Power. Should he move forward he must inscribe the error into his very soul, to always ride the wave of prudence and intelligence in the treachery of the real open sea.
Humans are such fantastic Machines, so many different Programs...so many ways to excel, evolve, so many directions in which different lives achieve different means, varying arenas of 'par excellence'
