The Mysterious Mystery Stone 16 Miles West of the Moon
..."The gate that leads to the Indian Reservation land is located square in the middle of the desert, 16 miles west of Los Lunas. The day is chilly, despite the sun. The ground is yellow, covered in a thick brush of thistles and sage bushes.
To the east and west, red mountains erupt from the landscape in clusters.
Hidden Mountain is a mile high."

I just love how highly intellectual artifacts are named for a person who may find them, or assume themselves to have re-found them...but what is even better than that, the entire current mainstream archeological world accepts these names as permanent sign posts for their Train Tracks of thought.

Avatar,

As I have spent my life
defining thus far what
I Am Not,
This man has seemingly become
Everything in His.
"Words, however, are not Pacino's main language; he speaks with the force of his silences, as he assesses, judges, feels for an opening. Beneath the carapace of his charm, there is something feral and furious, which makes him both dangerous and compelling onstage."(New Yorker 12-17-12)
Everyone should be able to feel this precious tickle of purity,
even if love is only to be lost in the end...
between the bimbos and the chauvinists,
is nice to know it exists, or existed, if even
for a few smiling, fleeting, measured moments.
Smile, Everything is gonna be allright.
It would be fascinating to see the equation of your personality.. an organic set of fluid numbers and symbols, a language of math, science, soul, and atom... Oh wait, isn't that Astrology?
Andy Warhol's Soup Cans
Time and Weight, or Weighing Time.
Since 1889, the kilogram has been defined as the mass of a specific golf-ball-size cylinder of platinum and iridium, which is housed in a vault outside Paris. The problem with defining the kilogram on this object, known formally as the International Prototype Kilogram and more familiarly called Le Grande K, is that contaminants settling on its surface can make it gain weight while cleaning it could make it lose weight, potentially wreaking havoc on one of the main ways science describes everything in the universe.
As such, researchers have in recent years sought to base the kilogram not arbitrarily on an artifact, but on more fundamental constants. The new clock links time to the mass of an atom. As such, not only could atoms be used to measure time, but also time could be used to help define mass.

Humans are truly beautiful creatures,
you can pull them down, frighten them,
make them choose between mud and coal,
and they will still produce flowers,
they possess the capability to love,
to feel, and no matter how advanced a civilization
can get,
without these, they will always be lacking.

And to some, honor and integrity truly are always "in Vogue"
I can feel His presence all around me. I stretch
my arms wide, opening them to the sky. He fills my cells with the symphony of
the canyons. The world is spinning around me and I am standing up for all
that I have ever been. I would die again to be reborn to find your Truth.

Let it snow!
Let it snow!
Let it snow!
Yes, Dr. Emoto will agree, the many different shapes and personalities of frozen water are fascinating! Water serves as a living library, holding and remembering geometries of objects, lives, and biologies it interacts with.
Storms utterly fascinate and thrill me.
Nothing can allow you to feel more shrouded
and cozy then the muffled, magical wonderland
of a snow storm.
and despite the Global Warming News,
our first few days of spring consisted
of several inches of snow. But the news is always right
so still, the globe must be getting warmer...
perhaps the masses shall pay for this
through some tax reform?

Penitents: Huge ice spikes found in the coldest parts of the Earth.
It takes a very specific set of circumstances for penitentes to form. The angle of the sun has to hit the ice in just the right way to keep the spikes of ice standing on end and buried deep into the ground. The blades grow in very dry conditions and can thrive in dirt-filled or clean circumstances. (space.com)
